Job Description
Locums First is looking for General Practitioners in Larbert Road.
These sessions suit GPs who value a steady clinic pace, realistic appointment numbers and reliable admin support. We place you into primary care settings with clear workflow, sensible triage and the option to focus on consultations rather than constant firefighting.
Up to 4 days a week available with flexibility across days and sessions.
Role Snapshot
• Face-to-face and telephone appointments depending on service model.
• Opportunity for ongoing regular sessions and repeat bookings.
Working Pattern
• Up to 4 days per week subject to your preference and rota needs.
• AM PM or full-day clinics available.
• Flexible options for short-term cover or longer-running placements.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe independent GP consultations including assessment diagnosis and management.
• Manage acute presentations and ongoing conditions with appropriate follow-up.
• Prescribe and request investigations in line with best practice and policy.
• Complete referrals and signposting using local pathways.
• Maintain high-quality clinical records and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.
Requirements
• GMC registered GP with a current licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the GP Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience with confidence using common clinical systems.
• Strong communication and risk management with consistent safety-netting.
• Current compliance including DBS and mandatory training as required.
