Job Description
Locums First is looking for Practice Nurses in Crumlin.
These sessions are ideal if you want reliable treatment room work, supportive teams and a steady clinic rhythm. We focus on bookings with clear duties, organised appointment lists and practical support so you can deliver great care without unnecessary pressure.
Up to 4 days a week available with flexibility around school runs and other commitments.
Role Snapshot
• Treatment room clinics with immunisations dressings and cervical screening where trained.
• Option for regular repeat sessions with the same practice when available.
Working Pattern
• Up to 4 days per week based on your preference.
• Flexible start and finish times depending on clinic setup.
• Ad hoc shifts and ongoing part-time patterns available.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver treatment room duties including wound care and dressings.
• Administer vaccinations and immunisations in line with guidelines.
• Support long-term condition reviews where competent and trained.
• Perform cervical cytology and sexual health support where qualified.
• Maintain accurate records and follow infection prevention procedures.
Requirements
• NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent UK general practice experience in a treatment room setting.
• Competence in immunisations and wound care with evidence of training.
• Cervical cytology qualification if you wish to undertake smears.
• Up-to-date mandatory training including safeguarding and basic life support.
